Bio
Wife and Mom (capitalized because they are most important to me!), LDS, piano teacher, substitute teacher, volunteer... I love to read, watch tv, attend my chidren's events, sing, listen to music, ride bikes with my husband, swim, garden and scrapbook (although I'm years behind!) I love my family. I'm wonderfully blessed and very grateful. My husband and I bought the house next door to the house I grew up in (yes, my parents still live there!) 3 1/2 years ago and it has been a great thing. I'm the oldest of seven children. I graduated from BYU with a degree in Elementary Education many years ago, but my teaching certificate lapsed while I was raising my children and now I have to recertify (taking the new tests and 6-9 more credit hours of continuing classes). Probably not going to happen at this point. There are more and more demands placed on teachers and a lot of the rewards have disappeared as more emphasis is being placed on testing and No Child Left Behind. Frustrating.
